It is no secret that I am a motörhead fan. Apparently, so are the programmers at Apple. I was doing a search on my iPhone for the upcoming motörhead concert when I noticed that the auto correction feature wanted to auto correct the bands name by adding the famous umlaut over the o. That Röcks!

Wordpess on the iPhone

So Wordpress released an iPhone app today that let’s you write a post from your phone. This is my first post from said application.

Pho (Vietnamese Soup)

I have been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant around my neck of the woods for a while and I have been unsuccessful, until now. I have been craving some Pho for a few weeks now and decided to look online for a close restaurant again. Finally I found a place on 75th and Quivira, not too far from my house and work, called Cafe Song. I haven’t eaten there yet but I have plans to go on Friday, even if I have to go alone. I have to go to the city market to get some good Pho up to this point so I really hope this place is good. All the reviews I have read have been positive, so I have high hopes.

T-shirts

These days I find myself wearing fewer and fewer t-shirts. I now prefer a nice button up over a tee. I still wear some of my old skate shirts every once in a while. I run across t-shirts when browsing the intertube I wouldn’t mind having. One such shirt I found this week. It is called “weRobot” and is a nice print of some of the most famous robots from T.V. and literature. I like the layout of the graphics and that each robot is just the silhouette. I can make out most of the robots. Makes me feel like less of a nerd that I cannot get all of them.

Wordpress 2.5

I just upgraded my blog to the latest WordPress Software. It literally took less than 15 minutes. They make it so easy to do. At first glance I really like the changes to the interface behind the scenes. They say the Safari bug has been fixed (this should make Ryan happy.) I certainly hope so, it was annoying to be forced to use Firefox just to write a post. So, if you use WordPress as your Blog CMS I suggest doing the upgrade.

Oh man, Catie and I went this weekend to Scooter World in old Overland Park. We have been talking about scooters for a long time and every once in a while we go and look at them. It had been a few months and with the crazy gas prices we decided to look again. We were talking about getting one for Catie since she works so close to home now. We will not be getting one any time soon, but it is fun to look and pretend. Here ar 2 of my favs they had…

Wordpress & the iPhone

Well I have had my iPhone for about a week now and I have used it like crazy. So far it has been everything I thought I’d would be. And then some. I installed a plugin on my wordpress blog that makes it easy to write a post right from my phone. So far so good. I have found that the keyboard in the phone is not that bad. Pretty easy to get used to. The auto correcting of misspelled words is nice and does a really good job at guessing what you meant to type. Well I better get back at it.
